KENOS ALPHA Packaging Machine
TME’s Kenos Alpha is an advanced vacuum packaging line designed to reach production speeds of up to 70 packs per minute, combining high performance with a remarkably compact footprint.
At the core of the system is an innovative magnetic transport platform based on independent cart technology, where individual carriers are driven by linear magnetic motors along an intelligent track. This architecture enables the independent and fully programmable movement of each pack holder, ensuring exceptional positioning accuracy and perfect synchronization between all processing stations.
Unlike traditional mechanical indexing systems, the magnetic transport system eliminates many moving mechanical components such as chains, gears and cam-driven mechanisms. This results in higher reliability, reduced mechanical wear, lower maintenance requirements and smoother product handling, while also allowing dynamic speed adjustments and flexible process control throughout the production cycle.
Thanks to the independent carrier motion, each package can be managed individually along the line. This enables optimized cycle timing, improved production flow and the possibility to adapt machine behavior in real time, maximizing efficiency while maintaining extremely high packaging precision.
Despite its high level of automation and technology, Kenos Alpha is designed with a highly optimized layout, allowing the entire line to deliver high output within a reduced installation footprint, making it ideal for production facilities where space efficiency is critical.
